Climbing
Our climbing gym is an inclusive, welcoming space where community sits at the heart of everything we do. We offer roped climbing and bouldering alongside a wide programme of weekly and monthly socials, clubs and community events for climbers of all ages and backgrounds.
From LGBTQIA+ climbs, women’s clubs and social climbs to children’s climbing clubs and community sessions, our gym is designed to be a place where everyone feels they belong — whether they’re climbing for the first time or pushing their limits.
Why it's needed
Many people face barriers to accessing climbing and adventure sports, including cost, confidence, lack of representation, or fear of not fitting in. Traditional gym environments can feel intimidating, particularly for beginners or underrepresented groups.
By creating a safe, inclusive and community-led climbing space, we help remove these barriers and ensure more people can access the physical, mental and social benefits of climbing.
Ways we make a difference
- Provide a welcoming and inclusive climbing environment for all abilities and identities
- Host regular socials and clubs, including LGBTQIA+ climbs, women’s sessions and community climbs
- Offer children’s climbing clubs, supporting confidence, coordination and skill development from a young age
- Encourage a team-based approach to climbing, where climbers support and motivate one another
- Maintain the highest safety standards, with well-maintained routes, ropes and belay systems
